Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your order - but because many of our items are made-to-order, returns work a little differently.

Change of Mind Returns

Non-custom items
We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • Returned with all original packaging/tags (where applicable)

Custom / embroidered items:
Due to the personalised nature of embroidery, we do not accept change-of-mind returns on embroidered/custom items (unless faulty).

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the issue

We’ll assess the issue and offer a suitable resolution (replacement, repair, store credit, or refund where applicable).

Embroidery Notes

Embroidery is handmade/machine-stitched and may have minor variations in placement or stitching texture - this is considered normal and part of the process. If something looks genuinely incorrect (misspelling, wrong design, major placement error), contact us and we’ll make it right.

Return Shipping

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
If your item is confirmed faulty or we made an error, we’ll cover reasonable return shipping (or organise an alternative solution).

How to Start a Return

Email us at hello@dirtylittlestitch.com.au with:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos if relevant

We’ll reply with return instructions.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major fault, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund.
